Welcome to my Songs of Spirit page. This music has been written with a glimpse of life through a metaphysical lens. These songs examine spiritual longing and our need to return to our source at our life’s end. Please click on an image to select that particular YouTube playlist video. “Turn Within” is a highly orchestrated SATB performance that speaks to the heart of most all spiritual paths – prayer. When we “Turn Within” in prayer, treatment, affirmative thought, meditation, or by whatever means we choose to connect with our higher power – God, if you will, we align ourselves with peace and well-being and the outer world can drop away like a stone, leaving us with our thoughts – positive or otherwhys;).

The Time of Your Life is shorter than you think. How will you spend this most precious commodity?
This joyful 4-part (SATB) rock song begins with a simple vocal chant that is passed among the singers before kicking in with bass, drums, and guitar. You God “A Pray takes a light look at the power of prayer. Not that our prayers reach anywhere but within. where the only God we will ever know dwells, because this should be enough. Programming our subconscious mind for success (or failure) is a full-time job that never ends. We should live our lives and hold ourselves to higher standards than we apply to others. In “You God ‘A Pray,” the catch is that praying is not enough if you do not pray believing you have already received or if you carry negative emotions into your prayer time. Speak your word, walk your talk, live your life.
Celebrate The Light explores the original seasonal celebration long before Christmas incorporated it. The ancient “festival of lights” most commonly refers to either Diwali, celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains, or Hanukkah, the Jewish Festival of Lights. Both holidays have ancient origins and are celebrated with lights to symbolize the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. Celebrate The Light takes this symbolism to include our inner light as a “treasure no one can measure” and alludes to the next step beyond this holiday season, to consciously carry our light “through the year, with honor bright.”
Life is short and then you die. Don’t waste your time feeling bad about things you have no control over. In the end, love is all that matters. S/he who dies with a full heart wins!
